St. Albans, United Kingdom (October 10, 2014) - Boston Limited, now in its 2>nd year of providing partners with first-to-market technologies and award-winning tailored solutions, will be exhibiting at the 2014 VMworld® Europe conference at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via, October 13 – 16. Boston, in partnership with Diablo Technologies, will be demonstrating its VMware vSphere® 5.5-based VDI & Virtual SAN cluster featuring the Diablo Memory Channel Storage™ and SanDisk® ULLtraDIMM™ SSD architecture at stand E445.
Boston will be showcasing its high-performance and High Availability scale-out VMware vSphere 5.5 virtualization cluster, which integrates VMware Virtual SAN to enable flexible storage resilience and modularity. Featuring SanDisk® ULLtraDIMM™ SSD as a low latency SSD cache to traditional spinning HDD’s; The Boston Quattro 1280-6 offers the flexibility and energy efficient performance of both at a fraction of the cost of all SSD solutions.
Designed for optimal performance and processing density, the Boston Quattro 1280-6 provides modularity and serviceability through use of the Supermicro® 2U Twin Squared™ platform. Comprised of 4 hot pluggable nodes in a 2U enclosure, each with dual Intel® Xeon™ E5-2600 v2 series processors and up to 512B of DRAM; the 2U Twin Squared™ makes an excellent choice for space constrained environments.
The MCS-based products are NAND flash storage devices that are installed directly into a standard DDR-3 DIMM slot, providing applications with ultra-low latency access to data. The Memory Channel Storage architecture allows for multiple devices to be deployed in a parallel manner, enabling highly-scalable performance.
Attendees are invited to visit booth E445 to discuss how the Boston Quattro 1280-6, Diablo’s and SanDisk® ULLtraDIMM™ SSD architecture can increase your virtual machine density, availability and serviceability; whilst decreasing your operating expenditure.
