Mellanox Spectrum SN3700C Switches

The SN3700C is the first of a new herald of 4th Generation Ethernet Switch systems built for maximum flexibility. The SN3000 series is ideal for building wire-speed and cloud-scale layer-2 and layer-3 networks.

Key features and advantages include:

  • 1U 32-port 100GbE spine that can double as a high-density 10/25GbE leaf
  • 6.4Tbps total throughout. Maximum flexibility with ports ranging from 1GbE to 100GbE and full rack connectivity. The ports can be split to allow up to 128 X 10/25GbE ports
  • New advanced features in Performance and Scalability
  • Robust RoCE transport to power NVMe over fabric and Machine Learning applications that leverage GPUdirect

Current offerings include pre-installed configuration with Mellanox Onyx - a high-performance cloud-scale switch operating system, or Mellanox's bare metal Open Network Install Environment (ONIE) configuration where system architects can utilise a number of optional network operating systems. Mellanox Onyx simplifies network processes and workflows which increases efficiencies and reduces operating expenses and time-to service.
