Built for single/uni-processor (UP) servers, the Intel Xeon processor 3300 series delivers a new level of energy-efficient performance from the enhanced Intel Core microarchitecture, optimized for low-power, quad core, 64-bit computing.

Pair an Intel Xeon 3300 series processor with a server board based on the Intel 3200 series chipset to create a high performance, highly reliable and low cost single socket server. Memory support for 1333 FSB and ECC DDR2 800 is now available from Intel and 3rd party manufacturers, fully supported by the Intel Xeon processor 3300 and 3100 series.
