Supermicro's High Frequency Trading (HFT) range is designed from the ground up to deliver the ultimate speed and maximum reliability necessary to satisfy low-latency applications. The hardware and firmware have been engineered specifically to offer guaranteed overclocking performance, yet still maintain absolute stability and include warranty & support for the included system CPUs and memory.

Based on the X9DAX-series motherboard and Supermicro’s Hyper-Speed technology, the Boston BOS-VX9-2402-0T enhances the highest performance Intel® Xeon® E5-2600 V2 series processor (up to 150W TDP) from 3.6GHz to 3.74GHz with Turbo enabled - a frequency increase of 4%. For single threaded applications, a single core can reach 4.16GHz with Turbo, delivering low latency when it matters.

The processors are able to run at maximum efficiency thanks to liquid CPU cooling technology, with an in-built pump and radiator system that provides rapid, effective coolant circulation and a quiet computing experience.

The Boston BOS-VX9-2402-0T is further enhanced by the addition of an NVIDIA K20 GPU accelerator. Designed to be the performance leader in double precision applications and the broader supercomputing market, the Tesla K20 accelerators is able to deliver 10x the performance of a single CPU. With more than one teraflop peak double precision performance, these GPU accelerators are ideal for the most aggressive high-performance computing workloads including climate and weather modelling, CFD, CAE, computational physics, biochemistry simulations, and computational finance.
