Intel®'s next generation Xeon® E5-2600 V2 series processors enable significant performance improvements over the last generation through a higher core count (12 cores vs. 8) and a faster memory bus (1866MHz from 1600MHz). In the Venom 2401-7T, the NVIDIA GPUs free up the CPU to do the work it is best suited for.
NVIDIA®'s Maximus™ technology allows the Quadro GPU to handle visualisation or interactive design, and then offloads the heavy lifting of photorealistic rendering or engineering simulation computation to the Tesla GPU. This method of sharing the workload with the technology best suited to coping is what delivers the performance needed to dramatically increase the efficiency of the end users workflow.
The Boston Venom 2401-7T keeps power, noise and heat under control by using enhanced liquid cooling technology, delivering maintenance-free operation, pure copper Micro Fins, highly efficient radiator, and an ultra-quiet 120mm PWM fan.
Additional features include an advanced uninterrupted airflow chassis design that aids energy efficiency and low-noise operation, additional foam padding for noise absorption and the capability to accommodate up to 7x 3.5" hard drives and 4x 2.5" SSDs.
