Boston’s innovative Roamer series implements PC-over-IP technology, allowing users to extend the machine of their choice to their desktop – worldwide! The Boston Roamer 1400-7SM provides an uncompromised desktop experience that makes centralized enterprise computing truly viable for both PC-based knowledge workers and workstation power users, either locally via LAN or remotely via WAN.

PCoIP™ technology is applicable to the complete range of centralized enterprise desktop applications from single monitor systems for mainstream knowledge workers to multi-monitor systems for high-end power users; allowing CIO’s to finally replace all desktop computing devices – from workstations and PC’s to thin clients – and realize the substantial benefits that result.

With capabilities of over 4 Teraflops, the Boston Roamer 1400-7SM has been designed specifically to cater for ever increasing demands within the High Performance Computing and Broadcast arena’s.

Heterogeneous computing is fully supported to allow users to harness the massive computational power made available by three NVIDIA Tesla GPU’s and the Quadro 6000, in conjunction with the latest developments in multi-core processor technologies.
