The Boston Quattro is a high-capacity 8-node, 4U server solution based on Supermicro's FatTwin architecture - the latest generation to their highly successful range of Twin-based solutions. The highly dense server provides up to 6x 2.5" hot-swappable SATA HDDs per ½U to offer a new, flexible computing platform that is suitable for a number of demanding applications, including Data Centres, Cloud Computing environments, Big Data and High Performance Computing.

The Boston Quattro is a high-capacity 8-node, 4U server solution based on Supermicro's FatTwin architecture - the latest generation to their highly successful range of Twin-based solutions. The highly dense server provides up to 6x 2.5" hot-swappable SATA HDDs per ½U to offer a new, flexible computing platform that is suitable for a number of demanding applications, including Data Centres, Cloud Computing environments, Big Data and High Performance Computing.

Powered by the latest dual Intel Xeon processors, code-named 'Sandy Bridge', the Boston Quattro delivers outstanding energy efficiency. The Quattro offers two 8-core Intel Xeon E5-2650 processors per node, which equates to an incredible 128 cores within the 4U enclosure.

As standard the Boston Quattro is shipped with with 32GB of RAM per node. Maximum energy efficiency and high-availability is also achieved with 4x 1620W Redundant Platinum Level / 94%+ power supplies.

Versatile configurations allow the multi-award winning range of Quattro render nodes to be optimized for many different environments including Data Centre, Cloud Computing, Hadoop Applications, High Performance Computing, Scientific Research and the Oil & Gas Arena.
