The Boston Quattro 1132-T provides an excellent balance of raw computing performance and server density. This perfectly engineered system houses two independent & hot-pluggable nodes, each with 2x Intel E5-2640 V3 processors, 64GB of DDR4 memory and 8TB of storage space all in a 1U rack mount form factor.
The Boston Quattro 1132-T per node supports 4 SAS or SATA devices in 2.5" / SFF hot swap bays, up to 1TB of RAM and up to two processors, selectable from the entire Intel Xeon E5-2600 V3 range. Storage performance will not be lacking either with hardware RAID provided in the form of Avago's 3108 controller.
This high performance controller features everything you expect from a SAS 3 generation RAID controller, including SAS 3 (12Gbps) links, a dedicated 2GB RAM Cache and RAID levels 0,1,10,5,6 as standard. An optional upgrade is Avago's CacheVault® flash cache technology which protects the integrity of cached data by storing cached data in non-volatile flash cache storage
The Quattro 1132-T will also support the upcoming Intel Xeon E5-2600 V4 (codename Broadwell) upon release with a simple to deploy BIOS update.
Provided as standard, Supermicro's IPMI (out of band management) provides enterprise level access to each node. Delivered as a new feature for the Quattro 1132-T's IPMI management, multimode allows the administrator to see both node's status when logged into just one, for ease of administration.
Available with 10GbE Ethernet or FDR Infiniband support, interconnect is not forgotten either, and for those with specific IO requirements a low profile PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slot enables further, simple expansion.
Redundant, Titanium level efficiency power supplies help keep the system, online in the event of power failures, too, yet with a 96% efficiency you can rest easy knowing energy is not unnecessarily wasted.
