The Boston Igloo 1203-40Q NVMe Cluster-in-a-Box utilises Open-E’s JovianDSS, a Linux based ZFS Software Defined Storage to create a dual node all-flash, ultra-fast and highly available storage solution.
The Boston Igloo 1203-40Q all-flash Cluster-in-a-Box is a file and block storage solution providing a high capacity of 76.8TB raw storage, reliable performance, scalability, and ultra-fast speeds. In a 2U rackmount form factor and comprised of two nodes in each server to ensure high availability, the Boston Igloo 1203-40Q is perfect for solutions that will host business critical data. No single point of failure is achieved with redundant components and dual port enterprise class NVMe drives in a RAID-Z1 configuration.
Powered by Open-E JovianDSS, the Boston Igloo 1203-40Q provides a host of enterprise storage features. These include flexible Virtual IP’s for storage access, automatic data integrity checks, data compression, de-duplication, and pre-provisioning. Protocol support includes iSCSI, Fibre Channel (optional), NFS and SMB (CIFS). Support is included for both physical hardware and virtual environments such as VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft Hyper-V.
On and off-site backup & disaster recovery is built in, with unlimited snapshots and clones, encrypted backups, and instant access to previous versions which makes disaster recovery a breeze.
Connectivity includes dual 10/25/40GbE for storage access as standard with the option to upgrade to 50/100GbE, and dual 10GbE for storage management. Also present is a dedicated network port for IPMI, allowing for full server control via secure remote access.
Boston services include full deployment from initial proposal and planning right through to testing, benchmarking before final delivery and onsite installation, with options to tailor to any specialised configurations. Support options can be added to allow for technical assistance, onsite warranty, and spare parts.
