This ground breaking capacity is made reality by utilising Diablo Technologies™ Memory1™ - a technology utilising lower cost NAND flash instead of costlier DRAM on a DDR-4 compatible memory module. Standard DDR-4 DRAM front ends flash memory for all reads and write operations, ensuring both high performance and endurance is achieved.
The result is that both operating systems nor applications need to be modified to take advantage of the capacity benefits Memory1™ brings, bringing benefits to a whole range of industry standard applications with a significantly lower TCO than traditional approaches.
The Fenway 2128-0T also includes two Intel® Xeon™ E5-2600 v4 processors, up to 10 x 2.5” S-ATA, SAS or NVMe disk drives, redundant power supply and up to 4 PCI-Express add in cards in a compact 1U form factor. These features make it one of the densest x86 servers available on the market today.
