The Venom 2306-7T is a GPU-powered workstation designed by Boston to make the most of graphically intensive applications across many industries - helping researchers, analysts, engineers and digital effects artists do their jobs faster, more efficiently, and with better results!
Intel's next generation Xeon E5-2600 V2 series processors enable significant performance improvements over the last generation through a higher core count (from 8 to 12 cores), faster memory bus (from 1600MHz to 1866MHz) as well as increased virtualisation performance through APIC Virtualisation.
Additional processing power is provided by a NVIDIA Quadro K4000, a super-fast workstation-class graphics card. This card is equipped with an incredible 768 CUDA cores and a massive 3GB frame buffer so will accelerate your entire workflow; ensuring the workstation delivers ultra-fast performance to help professionals realise their most ambitious visions.
As standard the Venom 2306-7T is supplied with 32GB of 1866MHz DDR3 memory so is easily able to run several workstation-class applications at once. The system also includes support for the new PCI Express 3.0 bus, which provides double the bandwidth per lane (1GB/sec versus 500MB/sec) compared to the earlier PCI Express 2.1 bus. This means that compatible expansion cards are able to communicate much faster with the rest of the system, enhancing performance.
Additional features include an advanced thermal chassis design, aiding energy efficiency and quiet operation, and 4 hot-swap drive bays accessible behind the lockable front bezel door - increasing the usability and flexibility of the system.
