The Supermicro NVMe AOC-SLG3-2E4 features two internal NVMe connectors (SFF 8643) for high-performance storage connectivity. This HBA card is built on PLX PE8718 PCIe switch IC technology and proven NVMe technology. It addresses the growing demand for increased data throughput and scalability requirement across enterprise-class server platforms, Embedded / IPC solution, desk top / gaming station solution. It delivers cost effective storage solutions using NVMe storage devices and maximum performance and reliability. Perfect for "nearline cache storage solutions", where data can wait until it gets flushed down to its intended backend storage.
