St. Albans, United Kingdom (16th March 2015) - Boston Limited, now in its 23rd year of providing partners with first-to-market technologies and award-winning tailored solutions, will be exhibiting at CeBit 2015 ,Hannover Exhibition grounds Germany 16-20th March on booth #D66. Boston will be exhibiting in partnership with NVIDIA, Avago Technologies, Mellanox, SanDisk, AMD and Sapphire.

CeBIT offers unique benefits, boasting an IT show and a conference programme for professionals. CeBIT defines the latest IT trends, presents talks by high-calibre speakers, hosts forward-looking panel discussions, and showcases product innovations from all over the world.

Boston Limited will be showcasing the Boston Venom 2100-06 GRID GPU accelerated VDI solution, running vGPU on VMware® vSphere 6 at this year's CeBit. In partnership with NVIDIA & Supermicro, Boston have developed a range of high performance Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) server platforms optimised for 3D professional graphics applications. Boston's NVIDIA GRID Technology-based solutions are fully validated to provide rich graphics in virtualised environments and support the best virtualisation software from Citrix®, VMware® and Microsoft.

The Boston Venom 2100-06 GRID solution features up to two of the latest generation Xeon E5-2600 v3 Haswell processors, sporting up to 18 cores each, and 1TB of DDR-4 Registered ECC memory. This powerful 1U rack-mount server enables the consolidation of more VDI users than ever before. Combined with up to three GRID K1 or K2 accelerator cards this enables never seen before rack density for 3D accelerated desktop sessions.

In partnership with NVIDIA we will also have the Boston Venom 3400-7T on display. This is designed to be a compact yet powerful workhorse for all design, VFX and digital content professionals. The Venom 3400-7T is a workstation designed by Boston andbrings together the often disjointed design and simulation processes into one package; dramatically increasing productivity and allowing engineers, designers and content creators to do more, faster, and with better results.

Boston Limited in partnership with Avago Technologies will also be showing the Boston Igloo Syncro at this year's CeBit. The Igloo Syncro series is a redundant yet simple to administer Windows Storage Server 2012 R2 cluster comprised of two Boston Igloo servers featuring the latest Intel E5-2600 v3 processors. The solution uses two LSI Syncro® controller cards to create high availability direct-attached storage as an alternative to traditional Fibre Channel or iSCSI shared storage arrays.

Boston Limited will have on display the Microblade, with 112 independent microserver nodes. MicroBlade offers powerful, efficient and cost effective, dedicated nodes for clients who have concerns operating in multi-tenant environments. Because of the extreme density of MicroBlade, both single tenant and multi-tenant configurations are possible in the same enclosure without the traditional space penalty.

In partnership with Mellanox we will display an example of their InfiniBand Switch Systems, delivering the highest performance and port density with a complete fabric management solution. This enables compute clusters and converged data centres the ability to operate at any scale while reducing operational costs and infrastructure complexity. We will also display parts from the End-to-End Ethernet Connectivity Bundle at this year's event.

We will be joined by partners AMI this year with a storage solution on display featuring the StorTrends 3500i. StorTrends 3500i is built for performance and reliability offering enterprise-class features in an all-inclusive package. StorTrends iTX 2.8 is preinstalled on the StorTrends 3500i array and includes features such as intelligent application aware snapshots, auto data tiering, WAN optimized replication, disaster recovery, an intuitive GUI interface, and VMware vSphere Plugin for ease of management.

Boston Limited will also be introducing our hyper-converged private cloud solution, The Boston vScaler, on the Supermicro stand (#D52). vScaler simplifies data centre infrastructure by integrating server and storage resources into a simple turnkey appliance that is deployed in as little as 15 minutes from racking, and is capable of running any application at any scale.

Developed on the foundation of Openstack technology, the Boston vScaler enables agile development teams to quickly deploy scalable, production-ready, private cloud environments that inter-operate with other Open-Stack public clouds and also supports Amazon Web Services APIs. vScaler improves data centre efficiency by managing a group of servers as a single pool of elastic and scalable computing resources and provides management through self-service interfaces and APIs. vScaler includes a hyper-converged hardware architecture, a highly secure stateless Linux micro-OS, and advanced cluster management technology.

Visit Boston Limited at CeBit on stand #D66, where we will also have a liquid cooled NVIDIA K80 sample from partners CoolIT.
