St. Albans, United Kingdom (December, 2, 2014). Boston Limited, now in its 22nd year of providing partners with first-to-market technologies and award-winning tailored solutions, will be exhibiting at the 2014 Machine evaluation workshop at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry, December 2 - 4. At stand #9, Boston Ltd will be demonstrating its latest Venom 7048GR-TR workstation solutions enhanced with the new NVIDIA® Tesla® K80 dual-GPU accelerator. Boston, in partnership with Diablo Technologies will be showcasing the latest database video which will demonstrate how MCS can deliver a faster application resulting in a better user experience at stand #9.

Boston will be showcasing its dual-socket R3 Venom 7048GR-TR workstation supporting the Intel® Xeon® E5-2600 v3 processor family and up to 1TB DDR4 with 16x DIMM sockets, alongside the powerful new NVIDIA Tesla K80 dual-GPU accelerators. With increased performance and efficiency compared to using two NVIDIA Tesla K40 GPU accelerators, a single NVIDIA Tesla K80 GPU enables users to accelerate their most demanding single and double precision workloads in scientific computing, seismic processing, and data analytics applications. The Tesla K80 delivers nearly two times higher performance and double the memory bandwidth of its predecessor, the Tesla K40 GPU accelerator, and 10 times higher performance than today’s fastest CPU on real-world applications.

As the latest addition to the Tesla Accelerated Computing Platform, the Tesla K80 dual-GPU accelerator leverages a rich software, hardware, and support ecosystem to accelerate the most demanding workloads in the data centre.

Boston will be showcasing the latest Diablo Technology data base video on MCS, this video will demonstrate how MCS devices allow infrastructures to scale with their growing data and also eliminates the need for ever-growing SAN storage and moves the database to high-performance, scalable, and flexible server-side storage. The database video will also demonstrate how MCS provides more OLTP Transactions per Second with dramatically lower latency, resulting in database applications to run faster and ultimately deliver a better user experience.

Attendees are invited to visit stand #9 to discuss how Boston can help make your IT goals a reality.
