BETT UK 2020

Posted on 26 January, 2020

Boston’s first-ever BETT is in the books!

The first calendar event of 2020 saw us travel a few miles south from our HQ to the heart of London for the BETT Show.

The British Educational Training and Technology (BETT) Show is an annual education series that brings together over 800 leading companies, 103 exciting new EdTech startups and over 34,000 attendees to the ExCel. The event theme aimed to create a better future by transforming education, so what better place to launch 3 new courses for the Boston Training Academy?!

Our Global Lead for AI Solutions, Laxmi Nageswari, joined us from our team in India to help launch 2 new courses and the Centre of Excellence at BETT!

The Boston Training Academy provides expert AI and Deep Learning training for your staff, customers, teachers, students and more. We can host structured face-to-face workshops or deliver remote online classes through our world-class instructors.

Please get in contact if you do not see a suitable course as our knowledgeable trainers can create a bespoke workshop agenda based on your aim - beginner, intermediate or advanced levels are available.

The Boston AI Development Kit

The Boston AI Development Kit made its debut at BETT!

Our AI Dev Kit is a next-generation AI development platform, which enables academic and industry professionals to harness the 2nd generation of Intel® Xeon® Scalable Family processors. These processors feature Intel Deep Learning Boost (Intel DL Boost) with Vector Neural Network Instruction (VNNI) that brings enhanced Artificial Intelligence inference performance and an Intel® Arria 10 FPGA card which is enabled with up to 96 full-duplex transceivers with data rates up to 17.4 Gbps chip-to-chip.

By utilising redundant, high-efficiency power supplies (95+%), and 8 hot-swap 3.5” drive bays, this solution provides reliable performance with problem-free maintenance.
