Boston Unveils Enterprise Edition for Lustre Powered Appliance at Machine Evaluation Workshop

We proudly announced our newest addition to the scale-out Igloo family of products powered by Intel® Enterprise Edition for Lustre software.

In 2014 Intel expanded their product portfolio with the delivery of Enterprise Edition 2.0 and unveiled Foundation Edition at SC'14. In the weeks ahead Intel plan to deliver the initial release of Foundation Edition, which combines leading edge features with exciting improvements.

A key benefit from Intel® Enterprise Edition for Lustre software is the software 'connectors' which make deploying Hadoop applications with fast, shared, productive Lustre storage easy. These connectors can allow you to combine current applications with Hadoop MapReduce, creating powerful, pipelined workflows.
