REVIEW: 3D World Magazine put the high performance Boston Venom 2305-7T through its paces...

Posted on 08 March, 2013

3D World Magazine, The world's leading magazine for CG artists, recently had a look at Boston's very latest high performance workstation - the Boston Venom 2305-7T - that is based on the latest generation NVIDIA Maximus Technology.

In this superb review the Boston Venom 2305-7T, which offers a unique combination of Intel's powerful 8-core Xeon E5-2687W processors alongside an NVIDIA Quadro® K5000 GPU and the new Tesla® CK20 companion processor, was described by journalist James Morris as 'the most powerful workstation' the publication has ever tested!

"The Venom's performance is about as stunning as any we've seen…Graphics performance is phenomenal, with 86.08 in the Cinebench OpenGL test, streets ahead of systems using any other graphics than the Quadro K5000. The key SPECviewperf results of 74.63 in lightwave-01, 121.65 in maya-03, and 64.77 in sw-02 are all among the highest we've recorded"
