Boston proudly unveiled the incredibly low-powered 4U Viridis Cloud solution, powered by OpenStack™ and ARM®, at at this years’ Cloud Expo Europe in London’s Olympia last week. Powered by two of the industry's most disruptive technologies, OpenStack and ARM, the Boston Viridis Cloud solution is one of the world first commercially available cloud offerings based on ARM processor technology.
At the event Boston also hosted an exclusive talk in the Management, Services and Applications theatre on day 2.
"How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Cloud’, presented by Phil Wainewright, discussed the fears that many have surrounding the cloud's big security and privacy issues that prevent some from embracing the cloud whole-heartedly. In turn, Phil laid these 'worries' to rest while highlighting the benefits of CA’s AppLogic software running on Boston’s Business-in-a-Box platform; which offers a pre-packaged point-and-click solution to configuring and delivering virtualised cloud platforms.
