Business-in-a-Box makes its UK debut at Europe's Premier Cloud Event!

Posted on 14 January, 2013

A new year and a new opportunity for Boston to showcase its innovative solutions and industry-leading technologies! We kick start 2013 with Europe's Premier cloud event, Cloud Expo 2013, where we will be highlighting our range of fully integrated cloud-based platforms on stand #661, as well as Interxion's stand, #857.

Based on CA AppLogic® by CA Technologies, Boston's innovative Business-in-a-Box range provides a range of turnkey Cloud computing platforms ideal for composing, running and scaling distributed applications & infrastructure. Designed for resellers, ISV's and enterprises, the Business-in-a-Box range enables businesses of all sizes to eliminate the binding of software to hardware through the use of virtual appliances, removing the major obstacle in accessing true cloud computing technology.

Boston's Business-in-a-Box range allows users to:

  • Develop apps on a virtualised infrastructure for agile delivery
  • Give customers self-service access to cloud computing resources
  • Run smarter on software by CA Technologies and hardware by Supermicro

As well as unveiling the latest edition of our Business-in-a-Box Cloud solutions, Boston is also hosting an exclusive talk in the Management, Services and Applications theatre on Day 2.

'How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Cloud', presented by Phil Wainewright, discusses the fears that many have surrounding the cloud's big security and privacy issues that prevent some from embracing the cloud whole-heartedly. In turn, Phil will be laying these 'worries' to rest while highlighting the benefits of CA's AppLogic software running on Boston's Business-in-a-Box platform; which offers a pre-packaged point-and-click solution to configuring and delivering virtualised cloud platforms. You can catch Phil's talk at the Management, Services and Applications theatre on Wednesday 30th January at 13:50.
