Powered by up to 80 Intel® Xeon™ E7-8800 cores and up to a phenominal 2TB of DDR3 memory, the Boston Venom 1500-06 is a true enterprise workhorse platform delivering exceptional levels of hybrid compute performance combined with essential RAS features for mission critical applications; all contained within a single 5U rack mount enclosure.

The Boston Venom 1500-06 also includes 10 PCI-E 2.0 expansion slots, Gold Level 80 Plus efficiency redundant power supplies, IPMI remote management, KVM over IP access and up to 24 x 2.5” S-ATA / SAS hot-swap hard or solid state disk support allowing for maximum expandability, availability, serviceability, and I/O performance.

Equipped with 8 Intel® Xeon™ E7 10 core CPU’s there are an astounding total of 80 physical or 160 virtual cores to satisfy even the most compute intensive workloads. For GPGPU accelerated workloads, the Boston Venom 1500-06 is complimented by 4 x NVIDIA® M2090 Fermi™ compute cards with 512 cores and 6GB of memory each, together adding 2048 processing cores and 24GB of memory.

This highly scalable and reliable, high performance x86 class server is designed to provide a balanced architecture for large data intensive and diverse technical computation applications.
