Overview
In this day and age with advanced multi core processors so many servers are left under utilised by mainstream applications. This approach can leave vast amounts of untapped processing power; as a result many applications are a better fit with a lower power consumption solution which still yields excellent application performance.
The Boston GP 2200-T provides an excellent solution to this scenario with 8 Intel© Atom™ D525 based nodes in a 2U form factor. The resulting density is second to none and results in excellent power efficiency and incredibly low consumption per node.
Service ability too is simple with hotplug nodes, redundant power supplies and 3 x hotplug 2.5" disks per node.
