St. Albans, United Kingdom (November 18, 2014) - Boston Limited, now in its 22nd year of providing partners with first-to-market technologies and award-winning tailored solutions, will be exhibiting at the 2014 Supercomputing conference at the Ernest N. Morial Conventions Center, New Orleans, November 17 - 20. At stand #3457, Boston Ltd will be demonstrating its latest Venom 7048GR-TR workstation solutions enhanced with the new NVIDIA® Tesla® K80 dual-GPU accelerator - the world's fastest GPU accelerator for data analytics and scientific computing.
Boston will be showcasing its dual-socket R3 Venom 7048GR-TR workstation supporting the Intel® Xeon® E5-2600 v3 processor family and up to 1TB DDR4 with 16x DIMM sockets, alongside the powerful new NVIDIA Tesla K80 dual-GPU accelerators. With increased performance and efficiency compared to using two NVIDIA Tesla K40 GPU accelerators, a single NVIDIA Tesla K80 GPU enables users to accelerate their most demanding single and double precision workloads in scientific computing, seismic processing, and data analytics applications. The Tesla K80 delivers nearly two times higher performance and double the memory bandwidth of its predecessor, the Tesla K40 GPU accelerator, and 10 times higher performance than today's fastest CPU on real-world applications.
As the latest addition to the Tesla Accelerated Computing Platform, the Tesla K80 dual-GPU accelerator leverages a rich software, hardware, and support ecosystem to accelerate the most demanding workloads in the data center.
Attendees are invited to visit stand #3457 to discuss how Boston and NVIDIA can help make your IT goals a reality.
